"We strive to live out and give out the faith, hope, & love of Jesus Christ"
We Believe
That the Holy Bible is the Word of the living God; true, immutable, steadfast, unchangeable. (2 Tim. 3:16-17; 1 Peter 1:25)
That there is but one true and living God; and that in the unity of the Godhead there are three as Father, Son, and Spirit whom are co-equal and co-eternal. (Matt. 28:19; Jn. 10:30; Acts 5:3-4)
That Jesus Christ is the eternal and one and only Son of God, begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and lived a sinless life as fully God and fully man. He died on the cross and physically rose from the grave, then ascended into heaven as He sits at the right hand of the Father as our Advocate and High Priest. (Jn. 1:1; Matt. 1:18-25; 1 Cor. 15:3-4; Acts 1:9-11; 1 John 2:1; Heb. 7:25-27)
That the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus, convict men of sin, regenerate and sanctify those who place faith in Christ, indwells in every believer, comforts, guides, instructs, and enables the people of God to live a life of service. (Jn. 3:5-8; 14:16-18; 16:7-14; 2 Cor. 3:18)
That man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred both physical death and spiritual death, which is separation from God, and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature, and are now sinners by birth and by choice, positively inclined to evil, and therefore under just condemnation to eternal ruin. (Gen. 1:26-27, 2:17; Psa. 58:3; Rom. 5:12-21; Rev. 20:14-15)
That we are saved by God’s grace, through faith, on the basis of Jesus Christ’s redemptive, representative, and substitutionary work on the cross, and not on the basis of human merit or works. (Rom. 5:8-9; 2 Cor. 5:21; Eph. 2:8-9; Gal. 2:16)
That two ordinances have been committed to the local church: Believer’s Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. (Acts 2:41-42; 1 Cor. 11:23-32)
